This piece of software allows you to play games over the Internet on both Mac systems and PCs. You can either join or host a game and play with friends and other users from all over the world. All you need is an Internet connection and having the game you want to play installed. Hundreds of games can be played online using GameRanger: action games, classic ones, simulations, strategy games, etc.

It is very easy to use. All you have to do is set the path to the executable file (.exe) that starts the game. Then you may host a game or join one of the many available servers. For each hosted game GameRanger shows some information (like host name, server description, number of players, ping, etc.) that helps you connect to a stable server. Therefore you can avoid annoying issues, such as lags or any other connection problems.

You also have the possibility to add other users as friends and host games just for them or send them private messages. In addition, this program provides you with the ability to communicate during games, add user icons and much more.

Overall, if you want to play a large variety of online games with users from all over the world, this piece of software is a great solution to do that with ease.

This app has malicious behavior. It opens a port and listens to incoming connection
